The Exquisite La Paz Waterfall Gardens

When you think about Costa Rica,
you can't help but think about their unparalleled beaches, tropical rain
forests, abundance in biodiversity and of course, the La Paz Waterfall
Garden.
Situated an hour from San Jose, the largest and capital city of Costa
Rica, the La Paz Waterfall Garden is also a Nature Park and Private
Wildlife Sanctuary. It is another famous tourist destination in Central
America. This wonderful tourist attraction is located on the beautiful
slopes of the Poas Volcano, one of the five active volcanoes in Costa
Rica. You can definitely admire the light blue sulfur pools around its
crater.

species are housed in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens in Costa Rica. It
encompasses numerous selections of wild life sanctuaries that house
various types of species. One of these sanctuaries include a bird aviary
which has unique bird species that roam freely like toucans, grosbeaks,
wild turkeys, macaws and more. The aviary also serves as a refuge for
wild species that may have been donated by the rich, captured by illegal
hunters and confiscated by the government.
The butterfly sanctuary consists of 20 different species of butterflies
and is considered that largest observatory in the world as it reaches 50
feet in height. Spectacular and colorful butterflies can be seen by
tourists as they flutter within its enclosed habitat. This on-site
laboratory typically allows people to witness the lifecycle and
metamorphosis of these species.
A Hummingbird garden situates itself as well in the La Paz Waterfalls in
Costa Rica. Twenty-six of these magnificent species are very well-tamed
since bird lovers are allowed to feed these creatures and what's
interesting is that they eat the food right off your hand.
This wonderful waterfall gardens in Costa Rica can delight you
especially if you're fond of Spider Monkeys and White-faced Monkeys.
You'll definitely enjoy and be amazed with what these creatures can do.
They can playfully swing and climb the trees within its enclosed
structure.
The La Paz Waterfall Gardens is of course a fabulous site to behold as
it also inhibits the famous Serpentarium in Costa Rica. It consists of
various species of snakes that may be classified as beautiful and
deadly. Some rare and rather famous snakes exhibited in these museums
include the green vine snake, golden eyelash viper, bushmaster,
terciopelo and more.
Another attraction that most tourists rave about is its frog exhibition.
These exotic frogs jump freely within its enclosed forest and be
photographed in their natural habitat by enthusiasts. Its collection of
frogs are mostly famous frogs from the Central American Rainforest
including the various species of poison dart frogs, red eyed tree frog,
flying frog and more.
